WILL & GINGER
GRANT, OWNERS
Ginger’s love of Tampa Bay style seafood inspired the start of Grant’s. In July 2011, Will and Ginger Grant began selling seafood trays on Saturdays under a relative’s carport. The home-based business flourished for four years, building a loyal following of locals who loved their spicy crab and seafood with a rich, buttery finish.
With Will’s 38 years of fine-dining experience and Ginger’s entrepreneurial spirit, the couple grew Grant’s Crabs Seafood & Grille into a thriving brick-and-mortar business. From its beginnings in Tampa Bay to locations in Largo and, most recently, Havana, Florida, Grant’s has become a staple in both communities.
Grant’s is known for sourcing fresh seafood and regularly filling its hot pots with hundreds of pounds of fresh, heavy blue crabs, snow crabs and Dungeness clusters. The finishing touch is their signature liquid-gold garlic butter sauce, known locally as “Stuttah Buttah.”
Will has cooked for celebrity diners including Angela Bassett, Dick Vitale, Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Alstott and Randy “Macho Man” Savage, as well as Tampa Bay Times food critic Laura Reily. Today, Will, Ginger and the Grant’s family continue to share the food and hospitality that started it all.
